Got my 2010 tag

Maaaan! The backdoor system lies! No draw for this year, not even the twins. I'm going to have to find a leftover around here.

You should have been seeing a 590 code if you drew using the back door.
Otherwise you will only see Deer App 490 or something like that.
Did you select the leftover draw option? That's what I always do, so you get first crack at any leftover tags.
There's always Nebraska for deer, 5.00 youth tags includes the bonus tag.
I think we are going to try one of the SWA around the McCook area.
Swanson actually looks like it holds a bunch of deer and there some feeder creeks/canyons that would be real good.
The area down where we are will have leftover whitetail doe tags, you can get some of those.
Most of the West of I25 tags will be for the poor areas that are hardly worth hunting.
That's how we ended up with those 34 tags two years ago.

Yea, I figured I'd put the twins and Jeremiah in for a leftover doe tag at Brian's house for PLO. There're usually a couple hundred of those left. They can hunt those and I'll sit and watch. We'll probably try and get them during 2nd season rifle so they'll have a good chance of smoking one.

Looks like the PLO tags for 2nd and 3rd season over at Brian' place have tags.
Hope there will be some left for you after the 2nd drawing.

There are normally quite a few of those left over since it's all locked up in private. We should be able to get some for the boys. I doubt I'll even hunt deer this year and just try and get the kids their shots.
