Arkansas Tail Water

Postby bullnuts on Mon Jul 26, 2010 6:41 am

Took the twin fish slayers to the tailwater yesterday morning and had a pretty good day. Daniel was throwing a Panther Martin and he ended up with 13 trout. I was fly fishing, of course, and caught 10 on a red San Juan worm. Dillon caught two, one on a BWO and the other on a San Juan worm that I sold him :D

The water is pretty warm and a little mucked up, typical for summer conditions down there, but the flows are only in the 500s so it's very fishable and easy to wade. We wet waded the entire day and it was pretty refreshing. Our best fishing was from the road below the dam down to the foot bridge.
